As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Dunham information systems are properly working – from end-user setup and troubleshooting to data center administration and support. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity, the position requires San Diego local residency and in-office work. We are not able to sponsor visas at this time.
Essential Functions:
- Configure, implement, monitor, and maintain the virtual environment, telecom, network, workstations, servers, various business applications, and generally all things IT.
- Provide help desk support including in-person, telephone, and email technical support for all locations and remote workers.
- Improve existing and/or implement new processes.
- Solve problems in resourceful ways, sometimes including but not limited to scripting your solution to include automation, engage with stakeholders for project resolution.
- Serve as an in-house expert on multimedia, streaming media, image development, graphics, and audio.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Firm background in information technology, which should include computers (hardware and software), storage, server (hardware and software), business applications, networking, and telecommunications (VOIP).
- Knowledge of concepts such as LAN, WAN, MPLS, Internet, as well as current data and voice communications technologies, and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Microsoft server features including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy Management as well as Exchange Server, SQL Server and IIS Server environments.
- Understanding of data center hardware and techniques, including virtualized servers, SANs, and backup and recovery methods.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of PC hardware and all standard Office 365 applications.
- Assist the CISO in various Cybersecurity projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well within a team or solo if needed.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Effective at taking tasks to completion.
- Must be able to work under intensive deadlines with frequent interruptions and complete highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks.
- Must be available from time-to-time for after-hours or weekend work, as well as occasional travel to out-of-state branch office locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems major is preferred, however equivalent work experience will be assessed.
- Vendor or IT certifications preferred
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity preferred
- Knowledge of SQL preferred
- Knowledge of VoIP preferred
- Knowledge of O365 preferred
- Knowledge of Azure preferred
- Knowledge of PowerShell preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
- Financial Services industry experience preferred
Salary commensurate with experience to include education and certifications:
$36 per hour / $75,000 annually to $50 per hour / $105,000 annually
Dunham offers a complete benefits package to full-time employees who regularly work more than 30 hours per week. Interns and temporary employees are not eligible for these benefits.
